• Lighting, especially for visual impairments
• Fall detection systems
• Medical alert systems

• CPAP machines
• Recharging devices, especially phones with critical apps or that allow communication with caretakers, and medical devices (e.g. glucose and blood pressure monitors)

You can’t avoid an outage, but you can avoid being caught without backup power.  Regular maintenance of your backup generator is all you need.  If you work with an experienced generator specialist on a regular schedule, each tune-up should be quick and uneventful and inexpensive.  You’ll also avoid expensive repairs, minimize liability, and keep residents and their families happy.
